Why don’t you show photos of BELOVED’s clients in the Restorative Program?

To comply with HIPAA standards of confidentiality and for the safety of the clients.

Why are BELOVED’s homes located in the heart of the city?

After clients graduate, we want them to have access to resources in the city and have a community for support. Public transportation, medical clinics, and job opportunities make the city ideal.

How do you find clients for the Restorative Program? Do you go into clubs?

We don’t do outreach. Our clients are either self-referred or we receive referrals from a variety of national networks.

Are you a faith based organization?

Yes we are, but we don’t require clients to be of a certain faith. Faith-based activities are optional for clients.

How do you deal with a relapse?

We recognize that relapse is often part of recovery. We work with clients who have relapsed to build recovery plans and offer support as they get back on track with their recovery goals.

How many survivors do you help?

Currently we have 3 residential homes with the capacity to support 10 clients.

What is forced prostitution?

When circumstances or another person restrict a woman’s choice & agency and prostitution becomes her only means for survival.

How do I change my monthly donation amount, payment method, or contact info?

Is there a transaction fee associated with using a credit card to give online?

Yes, however, you can help offset the credit card transaction fee by selecting the box to cover the 3% fee.

Can I hold a personal fundraiser for BeLoved?

Absolutely! We’d love for your to host a personal fundraiser through Gave My Day!

Volunteer FAQs

What is the process of becoming a volunteer?

We’re glad you asked! All volunteers are required to do three things:

  1. Fill out the volunteer application.

  2. Submit to a background check.

  3. Attend a volunteer training.

What volunteer opportunities are available?

Transportation, mentorship, cooking a meal for residents, leading a workshop / life skill class, or doing a fun activity with residents.

If we have a volunteer group, does orientation and a background check required for everyone?

Yes, if you are interacting with residents.

Why do you require a background check?

To comply with HIPAA confidentiality and for the safety of our residents.

Can my children or spouse volunteer with me?

If your child is over the age of 18 and is willing to submit a background check and volunteer training.
