VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
From home-cooked meals to career workshops, we’ve got an opportunity perfect for you.
For our residents, the road to healing is long. And some of the most important people they meet along the way are our BeLoved volunteers.
Our diverse team of volunteers is passionate about supporting women on their path to recovery. They’re rigorously vetted & trained. And whether they’ve got a lot of time or a little, there are plenty of ways to plug in.
4 Ways to Volunteer
A Day in the Life Team
BeLoved residents have a lot on their plates to create the new path for themselves they’ve always wanted! From doctor’s appointments to 12-step meetings to continuing education classes, they often need assistance getting from place to place, and this can be a wonderful way for volunteers to connect with our women one-on-one!
This team helps drive and accompany our residents to their appointments, therapy sessions, recovery meetings, and running errands.
Community Team
BeLoved residents spend a lot of time working through trauma and in recovery. So we work hard to give them a sense of normalcy through small but beautiful moments.
This team helps to build the BeLoved community one event at a time through large or small groups meeting with residents. This team hosts pancake breakfasts, girls’ nights, community dinners, and other events that celebrate life around good food and laughter.
House into a Home Team
The BeLoved homes are the residents’ safe space while they’re in the program, and we always want that space to be as beautiful as possible for their healing journey.
This team helps beautify and maintain the BeLoved homes, through interior design, interior cleaning, and exterior landscaping and yard maintenance.
Teacher/Mentor Team
Do you have a special skill that you can teach to others? Whether it’s ceramics, accounting, painting, conflict resolution, or one-on-one mentorship, we can find an opportunity for you.
This team teaches classes to our residents and provides mentorship on their way through our program. This is our most intentional team with direct one on one access to our residents.
This team requires a previous commitment to another team and further training.
